PURPOSE: To provide the foamed product excellent in color brilliance, weather resistance, flexibility, shape retention and appearance, and useful for wet suit, etc., by subjecting a specific crosslinking and foaming composition to two stage vulcanization and foaming treatments.
CONSTITUTION: A crosslinking and foaming composition comprising (A) a chlorinated ethylene.α-olefin copolymer rubber having a chlorine content of 20-40wt.%, a Mooney viscosity [ML1+4 121°C] of 10-190, (B) a triazinethiol compound of the formula {R1 is group of formula: -NR2R3 [R2, R3 are H, (substituted)alkyl, (substituted)aryl], group of formula: -OR2, group of formula: -SR2}, (C) an alkylammonium halide, and (D) a hydrazide-foaming agent is vulcanized at a vulcanization temperature of 120-140°C for 5-10min, and further revulcanized and foamed at a vulcanization temperature of 125-160°C higher ≥5°C than the first vulcanization temperature to produce the objective foamed product having a foaming ratio of 3-10 times.
