A crossover rail equipment comprises a pair of crossover plates 20 crossing between two connected freight vehicles 110 and having a rail-like structure part 21 on its upper surface, a seating 40 with one end part and the other end part of each crossover plate slidably installed thereon, and a crossover plate abutting part 50 in which end surfaces of rails 112 provided on the freight vehicles facing to each other between the two freight vehicles are formed with inclined surfaces 51 narrowing between themselves along with going to the outside of the rails. The crossover plate comprises two abutting surfaces 23 abutting to the respective inclined surfaces, and a holding means 60 is provided for giving elastic force to directions of mutually pressing between the respective inclined surfaces and the abutting surfaces.
