PURPOSE: To raise seizing resistance and to make heavy-load rolling possible by providing grooves or recesses for holding lubricating oil on the inside surface of sleeve or the surface of the outer races of bearing.

CONSTITUTION: A sleeve where plural grooves 60 are formed on its inside surface or bearing where they are formed on the outside of of outer races is used for a crown adjusting roll, seizing resistance of the inside surface of the sleeve and outer peripheral surface of the outer races of bearing is improved and heavy-load rolling is enabled by interposing oil in those grooves 60. The grooves 60 and recesses are provided by inclining about ≥5° to the direction of rotation of sleeve.
