To improve watertight function by engaging lengthewise projections formed on one end part of a roof tile main body and lengthwise cutouts formed on the other end part of the roof tile main body with each other, when a crown roof tiles are arranged in the longitudinal line.
This crown roof tile 10 is formed out of a roof tile main body 18 of inverted U-shaped section having a hood part 12 and hanging parts 14, 16. The hanging parts 14, 16 are formed a little openedly so as to separate from each other as going downward, and the roof tile main body 18 is provided with a string part 24 integrated with the hood part 12. Lengthwise projections 26, 28 are formed on one end part of the roof tile main body 18 and projected by a fixed quantity, and lengthwise cutouts 30 are formed on the other end parts of the hanging parts 14, 16 of the roof tile main body 18. When the crown roof tiles 10 are arranged in the longitudinal line, the lengthwise projections 26, 28 are fitted in the lengthwise cutouts 30. Consequently, even if the string parts are not formed on the hanging parts, high watertight function can be provided.
