PURPOSE: To simply and automatically readjust a device optimally for the exchanged CRT when a CRT is exchanged in a CRT display device.
CONSTITUTION: The CRT display device 7 is provided with a CRT driving circuit 2 with a video circuit 21 supplying a video output based on an input signal, a deflection circuit 22 supplying a deflection driving output based on the input signal, the CRT 1 displaying an inputted image on a display screen by the video output and the deflection driving output from the CRT driving circuit 2. Further, the whole device is adjusted by the device 7 based on the characteristic specific on the CRT 1 and the characteristic specific on the CRT driving circuit 2 by an adjustment circuit 3. The adjustment circuit 3 is provided with an attachable/detachable memory 36 for CRT characteristic for storing the characteristic specific on the CRT 1, and the memory 34 for storing the characteristic specific to the CRT driving circuit 2 separately. The optimum adjustment data of the whole device are calculated from these data by an operation circuit 33, and the adjustment is performed automatically by a correction circuit 31.
