Abstract:
PURPOSE:To select and display an optical necessary image plane by voicing necessary information, etc., in front of a microphone by composing of a word table for a utilization field, a speech recognizing device, a picture selecting device, a picture data storage device, and a picture display device. CONSTITUTION:When displaying a necessary picture on a CRT display device 4, an operator voices words regarding information on a picture number, a picture name, the system name of a plant, an equipment name, and process variables of pressure, temperature, a flow rate, etc., in front of the microphone 5 provided nearby the CRT display device 4. The speech recognizing device 1 analyzes the voice and refers to the word table 7 to output voiced words (string) 10. The picture selecting device 2 which receives the word string 10 refers to a picture table 8 which is prepared to output a requested picture number 11. The picture display controller 3 selects corresponding picture data from the picture data storage device 9 and outputs it on the CRT display device 4.
