Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain agricultural and horticultural manures of the state and form in which handling is facilitated from crude refuse by providing an extruder for extruding fluidized matter obtained by crushing and pressing the refuse from a nozzle while compressing it and a heating dryer for drying semisolid matter extruded from the nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: Mixed matter is introduced to the intermediate part of a pair of rolls 41, 42 of a presser 4 via guide plates 24, 25, pressed in the case of passing between the rotating rolls 41 and 42, particulate solid matter in the mixture is collapsed to become fluidized matter containing only fine particulate solid content, which flows into the cylindrical vessel 51 of an extruder 5. It is compressed in the vessel 51 by a pressing member 54 reciprocating by the operation of a cylinder 55, and extruded from a nozzle 52 as semisolid matter. It is rolled and heated by passing through press rolls 61, 62, 63, 64 of a heating dryer 6, dried, solidified to become a flat solid matter 11, which is cut in a predetermined length by a cutter 7, thereby obtaining a flat platelike solid manure 12.
