To automatically open and close a feed port and to adequately separate and remove the water in crude refuse in the process of charging by supporting a shielding body in such a manner that the shielding body is positioned in the part right below the branch inlet of a communicating path to admit the crude refuse into the communicating path when the load on the shielding body is above a prescribed value.

The crude refuse 13 charged in the state that bellows 14 expands to position the shielding body 16 in the branch inlet of a drain path 11 deposits in the branch inlet of the drain path 11 and only the water in the crude refuse 13 is discharged through the drain path 11 by a filter 12. When the weight of the crude refuse 13 increases to the prescribed value or above, the air in the bellows 14 is made to flow outside by an air pressure sensor 17 sensing the air pressure. The shielding body 16, then, descends to exist in the branch inlet of the communicating path 18 and admits the crude refuse 13 through the communicating path 18 into the treating vessel 1. The crude refuse 13 is sensed by a charge sensing sensor 9 which in turns operates a compressor 15 to put the air into the bellows 14 and to expand the bellows, thereby rising the shielding body 16. Agitating vanes 31 agitate the crude refuse 13.
