PURPOSE: A plurality of memories and made to memorize patterns of controlling elements and the tea leave crude rolling is effected in accordance with one of them as well as by watching tea leave temperature, thus producing high-quality tea.
CONSTITUTION: In the process for crude rolling of tea leaves, the patterns of the hot-air temperature, the rotation number of the main shaft and other controlling elements are actually measured and memories such as RAM or EPROM is made to memorize them. When the priority is given to productivity, one of the memorized patterns is selected to control the hot-air temperature and the rotation number of the main shaft by means of CPU, thus effecting crude rolling. On the other hand, when the priority is given to the quality, such as in new tea, the tea leave temperature is set to a target level and the hot-air temperature is controlled thereby to effect crude rolling. The system is designed to that both operations can be done by operator's switching.
