To provide a crusher for industrial waste which can prevent the occurrence of a fire in crushing equipment and a dust explosion induced by electrostaticity while lowering the water content of crushed pieces.

This crusher is provided with crushing equipment 1 for crushing refrigerators or industrial waste including a refrigerator, and pneumatic separators 37, 39 for selecting urethanes from crushed pieces produced by the crushing equipment 1. A sprinkler 17 is provided for sprinkling water intermittently to the crushing part of the crushing equipment 1 to lower the temperature of metal pieces crushed in the crushing part and to prevent combustibles from catching fire. A water spray nozzle 18 is provided on the upper part in the crushing equipment to bring the relative humidity within the crushing equipment to a desired value and thus to prevent electrification and dust explosion.
