Abstract:
To provide a pulverizer that can accurately detect occurrence of rapid combustion and inject an extinguishant at appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A pulverizer comprises a space in which rapid combustion of solid fuel may occur, and a space in which fire spread may occur from the rapid combustion of the solid fuel, out of an internal space of the pulverizer. Each of the spaces is provided with at least one of a pressure sensor 61 for detecting a pressure increase caused by the rapid combustion of the solid fuel, and an extinguishant injection part 60 for injecting an extinguishant on the basis of a detection result of the pressure sensor 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
