Abstract:
To provide a crusher for a plastic lump which makes a dust-free cleavage crushing of a bulky plastic lump easy though it is conventionally hard.
A wedge type crusher is used so that the plastic lump 12A to be crushed is cleavage crushed while a crack origin apertures 14 punched beforehand is widened to make a crack grow. The crusher has a wedge (an arrow) 18 which progresses by a thrust generating means such as an oil-pressure cylinder and a pair of widening members (blades) 16A, 16A which is arranged at the side face of the wedge and converts the indentation force of the wedge to the widening force, wherein the outer side face of the widening member 16A, 16A is tapered in longitudinal section.
