To provide a crusher in which crushing work of material to be crushed is continuously performed by effectively preventing a foreign matter from being bitten into the crusher.

This crusher is equipped with a supporting axis 21, an energization member 23 and a regulation member. The supporting axis 21 rockingly supports a crushing plate 5 while keeping a base end part positioned on the upstream side of the crushing plate 5 in the direction of rotation of a crushing roller 4 as a supporting point. The energization member 23 energizes the tip part of the crushing plate 5 positioned on the downstream side of the same toward the outer peripheral face of the crushing roller 4. The regulation member resists energization force of the energization member 23 and regulates movement of the tip part of the plate 5. The interval of both the tip part of the plate 5 and the outer peripheral face of the roller 4 is regulated so as to become constant value by regulating movement of the tip part of the plate 5 by the regulation member. A gap 15 for crushing, which becomes a taper state as it gradually reaches the downstream side in the direction of rotation of the roller 4, is formed between the outer peripheral face of the roller 4 and the curved face of the plate 5.
