Raw material biting grooves 11 intersecting a moving direction are provided at prescribed intervals in the moving direction, at a pulverizing roller 10 or a rotary table in a vertical roller mill or at a pulverizing roller or a raw material crushing face 12 of a bull ring in a centrifugal roller mill. A cross-sectional shape of each groove 11 is made to be a wedge shape, in which an inside surface on a downstream side in the moving direction is inclined onto the downstream side in the moving direction. Preferably the wedge shape groove 11 is formed at one surface of the pulverizing roller 10 or the rotary table, or at one surface of the pulverizing roller or the bull ring in the centrifugal roller mill, and the other surface is made smooth.
