Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve crushing efficiency by scooping up the primarily crushed materials remaining between upper and lower crushing rollers and recrushing these materials.
CONSTITUTION: The upper crushing rollers 2, 3 making an approximately parallel pair have screw-shaped crushing blades 5, 6, 10, 11. Partition plates 20 for partitioning the grooves between these screw-shaped crushing blades are mounted to at least one of the crushing rollers. These partition plates 20 are so inclined as to be disposed in the transfer direction opposite from the transfer direction of the coarse materials by the screws. As a result, the coarse materials are turned over and dispersed without being concentrated to the central part. Since the materials are recrushed by the entire part of the screw blades, the crushing efficiency is improved without lengthening the crushing rollers 2, 3.
