To provide a crushing system and a crushing method by which an object to be crushed can be crushed efficiently into fine particles each having a prescribed particle size.

The crushing system is provided with a hydraulic excavator 100 for throwing the object to be crushed, a roll crusher 200 equipped with a primary crushing apparatus 209 in which the object to be crushed and thrown by the excavator 100 is crushed coarsely by putting the object to be crushed between at least one pair of rolls each having several crushing bits in the trunk part and a jaw crusher 300 in which the object coarsely crushed by the apparatus 209 of the crusher 200 is received and the received object is crushed into fine particles by using a secondary crushing apparatus 320.
