Title:
CRYOGENIC COOLER OPERATING METHOD, MAGNETISM GENERATING DEVICE, AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1199135
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quietness and to save power consumption by cooling a vaporized gas re-condensing device returning the gas vaporized from a liquefied gas source cooling a superconductive magnet into liquefied gas with a cryogenic cooler, and discontinuously operating the cryogenic cooler. SOLUTION: The static magnetic field generation section 2 of a magnetic resonance image pickup device is provided with a cryogenic cooler 26, and a helium gas re-condensing device 238 stored in the static electric field generation section 2 to return the vaporized helium into liquid helium is cooled by the cooler 26. The compressor 28 of the cryogenic cooler 26 is operated by a timer in the time zone from 0700 to 2200, for example, and it is stopped in the other time zone. The cryogenic cooler 26 is stored in a vacuum container 200 via a sleeve 208, a heat transfer plate 242 is cooled to about 4 deg. K by the second-stage heat station 230 of the cryogenic cooler 26, thereby helium gas 240 is re-condensed into the liquid helium.
