CONSTITUTION: In the title cryogenic current lead in which a lead conductor 12, which passes through a cryogenic refrigerant and the atmospheric air, is covered by solid insulating material 24, a conductive layer 15 is formed on the solid insulating material, and the lead conductor 12 and a supporting member 17 are airtightly fixed to a mounting part 18 in such a manner that the lead conductor 12 is floatingly fixed in axial direction inside the cylindrical supporting member 17 having the diameter a little larger than the diameter of the lead conductor 12, a polyimide tape 19 is wound on the conductive layer 15.
