Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic freezer that can minimize the attachment of ice caused near an opening when a hinged door is opened.
SOLUTION: The cryogenic freezer has a plurality of storage cases 1 for storing various objects to be preserved, such as samples, cells, DNA (deoxy ribonucleic acid), blood, formulations and quality food, a body 3 having a freezing chamber 2 for storing the storage cases 1, inner hinged doors 4a and an outer hinged door 4b hinged on the body 3 to open and close the opening 2a of the freezing chamber 2, and an insulated panel 5 mounted to close the opening 2a of the freezing chamber 2 and provided with a plurality of insertion holes 5a where the storage cases 1 are inserted. A drawer cover 1b of each storage case 1 has on a back face an insulated part 1c for closing the opening 2a together with the insulated panel 5 when inserted in the insertion hole 5a in the insulated panel 5 and stored in the freezing chamber 2.
