Abstract:
To provide a crystal film that combines the orientation and the porosity of a compound having a layer crystal structure, and to provide a method of capable of readily preparing the crystal film combining the orientation and porosity of a compound having a layer crystal structure and having an excellent bond strength with a substrate.SOLUTION: A crystal film of the present invention is a crystal film made of crystal grains of an alkali metal composite transition metal oxide having a layer crystal structure, in which a<00l>direction of at least a part of the crystal grains is oriented in a direction non-parallel to a thickness direction of the crystal film. A production method of the crystal film of the present invention includes (A) a step of housing a substrate at least a surface layer of which is made of an oriented crystal of a compound containing a transition metal, and a volatile alkali metal compound in a crucible, and (B) a step of sealing and heating the crucible to vaporize the alkali metal compound and to generate a reaction with the surface layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
