To produce a β-crystal nucleating agent efficiently affording a β-crystal-based polypropylene product used for a separator etc., for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery without being accompanied by bad effects such as red coloring in high yield at a low cost without using a special apparatus and operation.
An amine salt-based compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 represents 3-18C saturated or unsaturated alicycle or aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue; and R2 and R3 may be same or different, and represent each 3-18C saturated or unsaturated alicyle or aromatic amine residue) or general formula (2) (wherein, R4 and R5 represent each 3-18C saturated or unsaturated alicyle or aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue) is used as the β-crystal nucleating agent.
