The invention relates to the crystal vibrator which has an external shape including a vibrating leg extending from a base part and includes an electrode at least either on a principal plane or on a side surface of the vibrating leg. A part of the electrode has an electrode removal portion processed to decrease a leak vibration component of the vibrating leg by adjusting the direction of a cross-sectional main axis. Thus, leak vibration of the crystal vibrator can be highly accurately adjusted.
