PURPOSE: To enable realization of an ultra miniaturized watch by arranging a power supply battery on one side of the reception side and at least MOSIC, a circuit block comprising a time standard source and a motor on the other side.

CONSTITUTION: The basic concept of an ultra miniaturized crystal watch is composed of the battery 2 having an external diameter equivalent to the external diameter of a movement block 1 on a movement block 1. When a battery which is smaller in size than the external diameter of the movement block 1 is assembled in, the both are centered almost exactly. Under this constitution, the battery 2 is completely separated in layout from the movement block, so that space for the movement block 1 can be utilized very efficiently. Thus it is possible to make available a movement approximately half the size of the conventional movement.
