PURPOSE: To form a crystaline aluminophosphate by maintaining a starting mixture, where each component including Al, P and diamine exists at a specific mole ratio, at a prescribed temperature and for a prescribed time and synthesizing it.
CONSTITUTION: Respective materials of Al, P, water, and at need a tetravalent to pentavalent element (hereinafter referred to as X) and a bivalent to trivalent element (hereinafter referred to as Y) are mixed to make the starting mixture of R/(Al+P+X+Y)=0.1 to 0.3, X/Al=0 to 1, Y/Al=0 to 1, P/Al=0.5 to 2, H2O/Al=5 to 500 by a mole ratio. This is heated to 110 to 160°C to obtain the crystaline alumino phosphate and related compounds provided with the composition of mR(XnYvAlqPx) O2 (m=0.03 to 0.2, n=0 to 0.4, r=0 to 0.4, q=0.3 to 0.6, x=0.3 to 0.6, n+r+q+x=1) and an X=ray diffraction pattern shown by a table [VS=extremely strong, S = strong, m = medium, w = weak, d() = dhk1 interval, strength (I/I0) = strongest peak/peak].
