Abstract:

To provide a crystalline polyester resin for toner and a toner which satisfy both of a fixing strength and preservability of the toner upon low-temperature fixing.

The crystalline polyester resin for toner contains 15 to 38 pts. mol of constitutional unit originated from a 3-10C polyol based on 100 pts. mol of constitutional unit originated from polycarboxylic acid, has a softening temperature (T4) of 85 to 120°C and has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 45°C or more. The toner including the crystalline polyester resin for toner is also provided.
