Abstract:
To provide a solid-state laser crystal micronized structure which enables heat conductivity/light-resistant strength/unit length lase gains unique to a solid-state laser to be acquired while acquiring beam quality equal to that of a fiber laser, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A crystal solid-state laser medium composite comprises: a crystal solid-state laser medium; and a high heat conductive material approximately similar in thermal expansion coefficient to the crystal solid-state laser medium. The crystal solid-state laser medium and the high heat conductive material are joined. A method for manufacturing the crystal solid-state laser medium composite at least includes a joining step of joining a reinforcement material to the crystal solid-state laser medium, and a polishing step of polishing the crystal solid-state laser medium and the reinforcement material together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
