Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain sodium or ammonium salt of 1,4-naphthoquinone- or 1,4- naphthohydroquinone-2-sulfonic acid in the form convenient for storage or transport.

CONSTITUTION: This compound is crystallized 1,4-naphthoquinone- or 1,4- naphthohydroquinone-2-sulfonic acid sodium or ammonium salt, being obtained by adding a salting-out agent to an aqueous solution of 1,4-naphthoquinone- or 1,4-naphthohydroquinone-2-sulfonic acid sodium or ammonium salt followed by filtering out the crystal of the above sulfonate deposited.
