Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a transmission for electric automobile which has a parking stage to confine an output shaft in a nonrotating condition, and can change the speed by operating a change lever linearly in the same manner as an automatic transmission.
CONSTITUTION: In a device main body 2, a high speed gear Gh is fixed on an input shaft 3, and a dog gear tooth Gd for connecting with an output shaft 6 is fixed at one end of the input shaft 3. A low speed gear G1 is installed rotatably on the output shaft 6, and a dog gear tooth Gd2 for connecting with the output shaft 6 is fixed also to one end of the low speed gear G1. Furthermore, at the device main body 2 side on the output shaft 6, a dog gear tooth for parking (to be called a parking gear tooth thereafter) Gp is fixed. Between the high speed gear Gh and the low speed gear G1, a gear selecting means S1 is provided, and between the low speed gear G1 and the parking gear tooth Gp, a gear selecting means S2 is provided. On a counter shaft 8, a high speed gear Gh' and a low speed gear G1' are fixed respectively.
