This culture bed has the following structure: a belt conveyer is applied at the bottom part of the culture bed so as to arrow the culture medium to move in parallel, side walls 2 made of polyurethane foam, sponge are attached to the surface of a belt 1 at the both ends in a width direction so as to move integrally with the belt 1 so that a culture medium 5 is slightly influenced by making the side walls movable integrally with the belt 1; wherein a culture-medium charging hopper 3 and a culture-medium leveling plate 4 are set to the moving start point part of the belt conveyer so that the culture medium can be conveyed at the same time when the belt 1 moves, and thereby the culture bed can be continuously charged with the culture medium.
