Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keep the growing state of microorganisms in good state and increase the yield by controlling the temperature, the carbon source concentration and NH4- concentration of the culture liquid based on the microorganism concentration, carbon source concentration, NH4- concentration and target product concentration in the culture liquid.

CONSTITUTION: The culture liquid in a culture tank is sampled at prescribed intervals and the components are analyzed by near infrared analysis to determine the microorganism concentration, carbon source concentration, NH4- concentration and target product concentration in the liquid to analyze the growing state of the microorganism on line. The temperature, carbon source concentration and NH4- concentration of the culture liquid are automatically controlled based on the determination results.
