Title:
CUMULATIVE DISPLACEMENT AMOUNT MEASURING MECHANISM FOR HISTORICAL DAMPER, METHOD FOR EVALUATING DEGRADATION IN DAMPING FUNCTION OF HISTORICAL DAMPER, AND HISTORICAL DAMPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3968404
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately warrant earthquake-proof of a building through appropriate judgment for replacement occasion, etc., by actually measuring the cumulative displacement amount of a historical damper built in the frame of a building, and evaluating the degradation state of damping function of the historical damper.
SOLUTION: A supporting jig 30 is provided, vertically downward, from an end plate 20a (20) above the historical damper 10 such as very-low yielding- point steel panel damper 10a, and on the lower end side of the rotary supporting jig 30, a rotary body 40a is provided through a leaf spring 31. The rotary body 40a is provided with a rotation-direction regulating member 42, being so configured as rotative only counterclockwise, not clockwise, and a pointer 51 is so provided as to be interlocked with a spindle. With a gradation 52 provided around the pointer 51, a cumulative displacement amount of the very low yielding-point steel panel damper 10a caused by rotation of the pointer 51 is displayed as cumulative rotational distance.
