Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which part of an ice agitator for preventing ice cubes in the ice maker from fixating is broken while agitating the ice cubes and a broken metal piece slips into an offered drink cup.SOLUTION: There is provided a cup beverage vending machine including a trap 1 in which a bent section 5 is provided in the middle of a chute 4 carrying ice cubes into a cup. Even if an agitating bar 2' of an ice agitator 2 for agitating the ice cubes in an ice maker 3 is broken because of aged deterioration or impacts and the broken bar slips into the chute 4, the broken bar can be caught in the bent section 5.
