Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup comprising a water quantity measurement function which measures a water residual quantity in a cup formed of a material which does not transmit a light.SOLUTION: A cup comprising a water quantity measurement function comprises a cup lid 2, a cup body 3 and a measurement module 4 arranged on the cup lid 2. The measurement module 4 comprises at least, a micro control unit 43, a storage unit 44 and a sonic wave reception unit, and in the storage unit 44, a look up table for recording a correspondence between the frequency and the water residual quantity in the cup, is accumulated. The sonic wave reception unit emits a sonic wave to the cup body by a frequency sweep method, and receives a reflected wave. The micro control unit 43 determines whether or not, the current frequency is a resonance frequency of air, based on energy intensity of the reflected wave. when the current frequency is the resonance frequency of air, the micro control unit 43 retrieves the look up table based on the resonance frequency of air, for acquiring the water residual quantity in the cup body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
