PURPOSE: To provide a cup holder for an automobile capable of effectively corresponding to a plural number of kinds of cups, etc., and realizing a high holding property.

CONSTITUTION: It is constituted of a roughly box type case 10, a tray 20 to support cups installed on the case 10 in a drawer type and a holder 30 to hold the cups hinged on the tray 20 on the other end of it so that one end can be made to spring up. It is furnished with a stopper 11 fastened in the neighbourhood of a mouth part 10a of the case 10, a plural number of engagement parts formed on a hinge part 22 of the tray 20 so as to be connected to the stopper 11, a presser rib 12 fastened on the case 10 roughly in correspondence with the stopper 11 and a plural number of flat parts 23a, 23b set on the other end part of the holder 30 so that they are pressed by the presser rib 12.
