Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the mechanical compatibility with automatic vending machines or filling machines, etc., by improving the slipping property of each cup, and smoothing the separation between cups.
CONSTITUTION: An uppermost part 6 with a small taper angle which is close to be almost vertical is provided at the uppermost area of a cup including a lump formed part 2 constituted on the internal side of an upper edge flange 1. Then, continuing from the uppermost area part 6, a step part 7 with a comparatively large taper angle is provided, and a cup 3 is formed continuing from the step part 7 in such a manner that a taper angle for a cup upper part 8 is made slightly larger than a taper angle for a cup lower part 9. In addition, at the lower end of the cup, a bottom equipped with a step part 5 which constitutes a stacking pitch is provided, and under a condition in which cups are stacked, the step part 7 of an upper cup is made to confront and adjoin or come into contact with the lump formed part 2 of a lower cup. Also, on the external surface of the cup, a colored or colorless and transparent printing is applied by an ink containing silicon, and the slipperiness of the cup is improved.
