Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a carrying mechanism for a cup column incorporated in a cup supplying device simple in its assembling and adjustment, and compact in its structure.
SOLUTION: This cup supplying device for automatic vending machine in which a plurality of cup columns 3 incorporated in the cup supplying device are circulatedly moved with a carrying motor 12 in connection with a pair of upper and lower carrying chains 11A and 11B and cups piled up and stored within the columns are transferred to a cup drop ring and are cut out from there by one cup at a time to be carried to a bend stage, the upper and lower carrying chains are bridged on sprockets 10 arranged at the four peripheral corners and synchronously driven by the carrying motor, drive sprockets of the upper and lower carrying chains are connected through a gear type mechanism of transmission 14, the gear type mechanism of transmission consists of a power transmission shaft 15 and gears 16 and 17, and the power transmission shaft is arranged in the inner circumferential side of a column movement path.
