Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the capacity of supplying cups, existing in random, to a cup transfer means for a winding machine, in a cup supplying station.
CONSTITUTION: A cup orienting device is arranged above cup supplying tubes 44, 45, 46 and is constituted of a drum 40 while the drum is provided with cup guide means 41 deviated by 90° respectively and the drum can be turned into both directions by the step of 90°. The rotating direction of a driving device 42 for the drum can be controlled by sensors 38, 39 and the sensors detect one end of a next cup 22, supplied to the drum at a horizontal position, to discriminate the fore end part of the cup and the base of the cup.
