Abstract:
To optimize the weight in a cup type tappet for the valve driving of an internal combustion engine, equipped with a cylindrical shell 2, by improving the type in which an end face side 3 of the shell 2 is connected to a bottom part 5 for cam contact.
The shell 2 is very lower than the whole cup type tappet 1 in height, and the bottom part 5 is raised from the end face side 3 tapering in the shape of a roof.
