Abstract:
To provide a curable composition for a color filter which cures with high sensitivity to form an excellent cured film, has a good pattern forming property and excels in adhesion to a hard surface being a substrate, even when the composition contains a colorant in high concentration.
The curable composition contains (A) an onium salt having at least two cationic parts, (B) a coloring component and (C) a compound having a nucleophilic group. A binder polymer having a nucleophilic group is suitable for use as the compound having the nucleophilic group (C). This curable composition is useful for forming a colored pattern or a black matrix of a color filter.
