To provide a curable composition having excellent coatability and providing a coated film (coat) having high hardness and scratch resistance and formed on the surface of various kinds of base materials, and to provide a cured product thereof.

The curable composition contains the following components (A) to (C) regulated so that the proportion of silica particles (Aa) in the component (A) may be 30 mass% and the proportion of methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) in the component (C) may be 50 mass%: (A): particles (Aa) consisting essentially of silica, having 30 nm and 200 nm number average particle diameter, and surface-treated with an organic compound (Ab) having a polymerizable unsaturated group; (B): a compound having three or more (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule and free from a dimethylsiloxane unit; and (C): an organic solvent.
