Abstract:

To provide a mastic type curable composition not only having a rapid curing rate but also capable of maintaining a stable mastic state even after a long-term preservation.

This mastic type curable composition comprises (A) a silyl group-containing ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene random copolymer rubber having a constituent unit derived from a terminal vinyl group-containing norbornene compound of the nonconjugated polyene, and containing a hydrolyzable silyl group in the molecule, (B) a compound represented by the general formula: R1Si(OCH3)3 or Si(OCH2CH3)4 (wherein, R1 is a monovalent organic group containing no amino group), (C) a compound represented by the general formula: R2Si(CH3)n(OR3)3-n (wherein, R2 is a monovalent organic group containing at least one amino group; R3 is CH3 or CH2CH3; and n is 0 or 1), and (D) an organotin-based curing catalyst.
