Abstract:

To provide a curable composition excellent in the bleeding out after the passage a long period of time or at a high temperature, the transfer of a silicone component to a medium being in contact, slipping propeties of the material, etc., and to provide an optical film such as an antireflecting film, etc., using the composition, a polarizing plate using the optical film and an image display using the optical film or the polarizing plate.

The curable composition comprises a copolymer comprising a constituting unit having a specific polysiloxane structure in a main chain and a constituting unit having an ethylenic unsaturated group in a side chain, and a compound having at least an ethylenic unsaturated group in the molecule, and at least one component selected from an organosilane compound or its hydrolysis product and/or a partial condensation product, a polymerization initiator and inorganic fine particles, and the invention also relates to an optical film, a polarizing plate and an image display formed by using the composition.
