Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition of a silyl-containing organic polymer, having a pot-life settable over a wide range, exhibiting good handleability and losing the surface tackiness within a short time.
SOLUTION: The curable composition of an organic polymer containing a silyl group is composed of 100 pts. wt. of (a) an organic polymer containing a hydrolyzable silyl group and (b) 0.1-20 pts. wt. of a tin dialkylacetate compound of general formula (1) (R1 and R2 are each independently a 1-19C straight or branched-chain alkyl provided that the sum of the carbon numbers of R1 and R2 is ≥10).
