Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable composition, excellent in handleability and having a tank, a film fixing strength and high filling and sealing properties by including a microcapsule, a compound having a polymerizable double bond, an accelerator and a plastisol therein.
SOLUTION: This composition 1 is obtained by uniformly dissolving and dispersing a composition consisting essentially of (A) a microcapsule prepared by converting an organic peroxide (e.g. a diacyl peroxide) into an enclosed substance, (B) a compound having a polymerizable double bond at the end or side chain of the molecule, (C) an accelerator capable of forming a redox system with the organic peroxide (e.g. a ferrocene or a tertiary amine) and (D) a plastisol (e.g. an acrylic plastisol, heating the resultant mixture or dispersion at 60-120°C, keeping the state for ≥5 min and then cooling the prepared composition. The curable composition has properties of a rheological fluid form before curing. The objective composition preferably has 250-450 (10-1 mm) cone penetration and 102 to 105 dyne/cm2 shear elastic modulus.
