PURPOSE: A composition, obtained by incorporating a synthetic resin emulsion with an unsaturated polyester resin, hemihydrate gypsum and a peroxide, capable of coating a base material surface wetted with water with good adhesive and bonding properties and capable of giving cured articles having zero shrinkage.
CONSTITUTION: A curable composition obtained by incorporating (A) a synthetic resin emulsion with (B) an unsaturated polyester resin, (C) hemihydrate gypsum and (D) a peroxide. The amounts of the components to be incorporated are as follows based on 100pts.wt. solid content of the component (A); 20W200pts.wt. component (B), 30W300pts.wt. component (C) and 0.5W10pts.wt. component (D). The further use of a curing accelerator is preferred. If the composition is not rapidly cured, a mixture liquid of the components (A) with (C) and mixture liquid of the components (B) with (D) are separately prepared, and, as necessary, both are mixed.
