To provide a curable elastic composition which improves the elongation of a cured product and the residual tackiness of the surface, has a large curing rate, can form the cured product having excellent weather resistance, and is suitable for the uses of adhesives, coatings, sealants, water-proof materials, spraying materials, templating materials, pouring rubber materials, and so on.
This curable elastic composition, characterized by comprising (A) a silyl group-containing ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyethylene random copolymer rubber which has constituting units derived from a specific terminal vinyl group-containing norbornene compound and contains specific hydrolysable silyl groups in the molecule and (B) a compound having one silanol group in the molecule and/or a compound which reacts with water to produce the compound having one silanol group in the molecule.
