To obtain a resin composition which exhibits a specified or higher water vapor permeability after being cured by mixing an ethylenically unsaturated monofunctional monomer with an ethylenically unsaturated polyfunctional monomer, a thermoplastic copolymer soluble therein, a polymerization initiator and a decomposition accelerator.
100 pts.wt. total of 10-94 pts.wt. monofunctional monomer (A) having one ethylenic unsaturation in the molecule (e.g. methyl methacrylate or tyrene), 3-50 pts.wt. polyfunctional monomer (B) having a plurality of ethylenic unsaturations in the molecule and 3-50 pts.wt., desirably 5-40 pts.wt. thermoplastic copolymer (C) soluble in component A is mixed with 0.3-10 pts.wt. polymerization initiator (D), 0.1-10 pts.wt. decomposition accelerator (E) for component D and 0.1-500 pts.wt., desirably 1-400 pts.wt. inorganic filler and/or organic filler to obtain a curable resin composition which exhibits a water vapor permeability of 50 g/m2.24 hr or above after being cured.
