To provide a captioned composition which comprises a silicone resin of high release properties obtained by addition or the like of an inhibitor to a reaction mixture of an organo(hydrogen)silicon compound, a catalyst and a silane, to which a condensation catalyst is added and wherein a continuously produced silicone resin undergoes less variation.
The objective composition comprises a silicone resin which is obtained by continuously mixing (A) an organosilicon compound having a plurality of olefinic hydrocarbon groups, (B) an organohydrogen silicon compound, (C) a platinum catalyst, and (D) a silane selected from (i) a silane of the formula: SiX4 [wherein X represents halogen or OR (wherein R represents 1-6C alkyl or the like)], (ii) an alcohol-treated halogenated silane, and (iii) an alkyl silicate (or its partially hydrolyzed condensation product) of the following formula (wherein R1 represents 1-6C alkyl or the like; and d is 1-3) with a condensation catalyst, adding an inhibitor to the reaction mixture to form an aqueous layer or condensation catalyst layer and an organic-silicone resin layer, and separating the resin layer from the aqueous layer and the catalyst layer, following by stripping.
