PURPOSE: To provide a curing method for the air contacting surface of an anerobic curing composition capable of curing the air contacting surface at room temperature in a short time and getting rid of a sticky feeling by applying a curing accelerator solution containing a paraffine wax, a soluble vanadium compound, an acidic phosphorous compound and ascorbic acid on the surface of the anerobic curing substance.
CONSTITUTION: This curing method for the air contacting surface of an anerobic curing composition comprises applying a curing accelerator solution obtained by dissolving (A) a paraffine wax, (B) a soluble vanadium compound and (C) a compound selected from an acidic phosphorous compound such as phosphorous acid, hypophosphorous acid, an acidic phosphoric acid ester, etc., and ascorbic acid with an organic solvent, on the surface of the anerobic curing composition. A compound selected from the acidic phosphoric acid esters represented by formula I or II (R1 is a 1-4C alkyl; R2 is H or methyl; R3 is a l-3C alkylene; n is 1 or 2) can be used as the component (C). The component (A) having 40-80°C melting point and vanadyl acetate, etc., as the component (B) can be used. Methyl alcohol, etc., are preferable as the organic solvent.
