Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that conventionally, curled wood chips are produced with an improved device of a planer or the like, but since the device cuts a side of a wood, the chips thus produced absorb water less efficiently than those produced by cutting a cross section of the wood.
SOLUTION: A cutting blade set at a disc is mounted at a fixed angle when cutting the cross section of the wood material, a cutting edge is protruded from a disc surface, a cutting speed of the cutting blade is set to a predetermined speed, and a disc method is constituted instead of a cylinder method. As a result, even a wood material having a greater diameter to be processed becomes treatable.
